Start here- level 1 peels are a fantastic option for almost all skin types, and treat a vast range of skin concerns with no downtime. Choose level 1 if you’re just starting your Chemical Peel journey. Your Skin Therapist will help you create a customised peel plan to suit your needs.
Level 2

Level 2 peels increase in intensity to provide further clinical results. Choose level 2 peels if you are seeking a more significant results based treatment & have prepped on a cosmedix product prescription as given by your Skin Therapist. Great options for skin maintenance post high performance skin plan. If you haven’t had this treatment before book in for a skin consultation prior to booking.
Level 3

Level 3 peels are high performing advanced chemical peels designed to facilitate significant improvement in multiple skin concerns. Choose a level 3 peel if you’ve been prepped on a cosmedix product prescription for a minimum of two weeks as given by your Skin Therapist. Perfect option for those seeking clinically significant results, and those looking for skin maintenance options post high performance skin plan. Lactic Acid: Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) known for its exfoliating properties. It helps remove dead skin cells, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Salicylic Acid: Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that penetrates deep into the pores to unclog them, making it effective for acne-prone and congested skin.
Retinol: Retinol, a form of vitamin A, promotes collagen production, helps reduce signs of aging, and improves skin texture and tone.

Deep Sea peel
A non-acid peel that utilizes manual exfoliation to dramatically resurface and rejuvenate the skin, lifting away to diminish the look of uneven skin tone and texture. This treatment contains a blend of potent ingredients, including sea herbs, coral & algae extracts to facilitate significant improvement to texture & tone similar to microneedling. This is a highly stimulating peel not recommended for sensitive skin. Depending on skin condition, mild to moderate flaking may occur.

BEFORE & AFTER CARE

For Level 2 & 3 peels skin needs to be prepped on Cosmedix product for a minimum of 2 weeks pre-treatment. Your therapist will inform you of required preparation products & treatments for your skin dependant on chemical peel used. Peels are to be started at Level 1, working up the levels as required. No preparation is required for Level 1 peels.

Sun & waxing is to be avoided for a minimum of one week post peel. Actives including AHA’s, BHA’s & Retinols are to be avoided for 5 days post. Excessive heat, such as intense gym workouts, saunas, heating, hot showers etc should be avoided for the next 48-72 hours. Dependent on the peel, some level 2 & 3 peels will create light/medium shedding for between 3-7 days post.

Results are immediate, building up to more significant results with more peels completed dependant on the concern. For optimized treatment outcomes, 6 overall treatments are recommended.

Pregnant or Lactating women are not suited to some level 2 & 3 peels. Asprin allergy suffers, those on Roaccutane, people who keyloid scar & those who have been on cancer medications/treatments within the last 12 months are not suited to treatment.
