Due to the nature of Microneedling, it is effective in breaking down scar tissue, stretch marks & textured skin, with the collagen being stimulated allowing the skin to repair and rebuild.
As collagen production drops significantly after our early 20’s, Microneedling is a fantastic option to assist the skin in restoring this lost collagen. Needle depths are customisable due to differing concerns, however never reach lower than 2mm in depth. Numbing cream application 30 minutes prior to your appointment is encouraged for those wanting a more comfortable treatment.

Sun & waxing is to be avoided for a minimum of two weeks post. Actives including AHA’s, BHA’s & Retinols are to be avoided for 3-5 days post. It is imperative that skin is kept clean for the first 3 days. Cosmeceutical grade mineral makeup can be worn from 1 day post treatment.

Those who keyloid scar, are within 1st trimester of pregnancy, are on anti-inflammatory medication, on Roaccutane or have been on cancer medications within the last 12 months are not suited to treatment.
